IraqiAl-Difaa has finally registered their first victory this season after five consecutive losses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in , where they outplayed Jordanian Amman United (2-4) 92-68 on Wednesday. Al-Difaa shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 53.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Jordan Hamilton (201-1990, college: Texas) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists. Forward Ali Ismael (199-1994) chipped in 23 points and 8 rebounds. Four Al-Difaa players scored in double figures. Ukrainian center Vladyslav Koreniuk (210-1994, agency: BIG) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Fadi Qarmash (180-2002) added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists respectively for the hosts. Defending Iraqi champion maintains fifth position with 1-5 record. Loser Amman United dropped to the third place with four games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams.
